Introducing the Self Isolation Edit

Self isolation lockdown. Microneedle. Olivierewilson

We’ve found ourselves in some unprecedented times, and as humans we tend to cling to certainty like no other living being that’s ever walked the planet. That’s why so many of us plan ahead, worry, set unrealistic goals and then beat ourselves up when we don’t absolutely excel in all areas of our lives. But the truth is, nothing is really entirely in our control so going with the flow of things, surrendering to what is, without forcing our way through to the results we desire, means we will live a much happier, healthier, wholesome life.

Right now, we’re all being forced to do exactly that. To stop, stay indoors, reset, renew, undergo changes and evaluate what's really important in life. A way to help open that space and to really get ourselves out of 'doing' mode, out of 'fight or flight' and into the 'rest and digest' (parasympathetic nervous system) where we restore the body to a calm and composed state, the place we’re supposed to be, is to practice Yoga and meditate. We wouldn’t start our days without cleansing our skin or cleaning our teeth, yet for some reason we’re more than happy to move through life without at least attempting to create a bigger gap between stimulus and response and a bigger gap in-between each thought.

We’ve also come to notice what a profound effect a daily meditation has on our skin as a result of reducing stress. Our skin is a fantastic communicator and so calming the mind and caring for our skin with Microneedling and topical application of skincare products can work to address many underlying issues you may be facing, your skin will thank you as a result!

With all of this in mind, we couldn’t think of a more perfect time to introduce our side hustle, Yoga. We're offering you online classes, throughout April for £10 per session with all proceeds going to help the NHS. By simply focusing on the breath, lengthening each inhale and each exhale, getting away from the thinking mind in our head and moving the body with the flow of each breath. Let's transform this lockdown, draw your awareness back into the core of your body, back into being, and all work together to be healthier and happier and to give this virus it’s much needed marching orders.

All proceeds will go to NHS Charities Together.

Message us ow@olivierewilson.com your email address to join our April Yoga classes. We'll send you the Zoom link with pin. Let's do our bit for the NHS.
